Code of Conduct

Climate Communications Australia's work is based on the following values which guide our decision making and all aspects of our ways of working:

1. Independence: We ensure that our charity’s vision is not influenced by political or commercial interests. We will only partner or accept donations from entities that are aligned to facilitating awareness and  acceptance of climate science and solutions throughout Australia and globally.

2. Evidence-based: We provide accurate and accessible information and resources about climate change, assisting media and the wider community to better understand the problem, its effects, and  solutions; All activities undertaken by CCA will be bound by the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research

3.  Information Integrity:  We will carefully consider our activities to ensure any data and information collected and used is handled with integrity and for purposes in alignment with our stated purpose. Our goal is to remove the complexities and counter climate related misinformation and disinformation for decision-makers and the broader public.

The Code of Conduct outlines the required standard of acceptable conduct and behaviour for all members, employees, volunteers and contractors in the performance of their CCA related duties and interactions.
