CCA has created 11 high-impact video explainers on hot topics in climate solutions.

Climate solutions literacy is still a barrier for many Australians who are open to acting on climate but are challenged by confusing information online. These video explainers address misinformation that is misleading Australians on the climate solutions needed to mitigate dangerous climate change.

The videos are provided for groups to share with their communities. For example they could be used by councils to explain to residents opportunities with household level battery storage.

The videos cover: myths around Netzero by 2050, the power of EV’s to firm the grid, EVs vs hybrid, zero carbon ways to firm renewables, getting off gas, the many myths of hydrogen, offshore wind, energy infrastructure, renewables reliability, the harmony of solar farms and sheep grazing, and looking at the sun and wind as resources.

CCA is providing these videos to educational platforms, corporate outreach, council websites and public service messaging sites, as royalty free content.

Climate Communications Australia has researched the most prevalent misinformation claims appearing in Australian news media, and that were recently circulating in submissions to the Senate Select Committee on Information Integrity on Climate Change and Energy.
